Days and Pow Wow - June 22-24, 2007 - Trade, TN, on the
state line on 421 North, 30 min. from Boone - Native
American dance and pow wow, lots of craft and food vendors,
pioneer America reenactment. Trade is the oldest community
in Tennessee. A trading post was established for Native
Americans and pioneers to have a place to buy and sell their
wares.
Ticket prices for one day are $10 for adults and $5 for
children. For the entire weekend prices are $20 for adults

Grandfather Mountain - Named a 2007 Top 20 Event by the
Southeast Tourism Society! All-day gospel sing and
fellowship held in MacRae Meadows. Television host, Bible
teacher and Christian recording artist Carroll Roberson will
bring the message. Free admission. The "Singing" grounds are
located on US Highway 221, two miles north of Linville and
one mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. This event is held
outside of the gates to the Grandfather Mountain travel
attraction. If you want to visit the animal habitats and
Swinging Bridge while you are here, please plan for the

Independence Day celebrations. The Town of Beech Mountain ,
the Beech Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, and the Beech

perfecting the seasonings and charcoal blends, our barbeque
